AI Governance Conferences Europe 2027: Regulation, Assurance and Enterprise Practice

A European guide to AI governance events shaped by the AI Act, assurance, enterprise risk and technical implementation.

Europe's AI governance conference market is being shaped by something more concrete than general interest in responsible AI: companies are implementing a regulatory and management system while the underlying technology keeps changing.

The AI Act became broadly applicable in August 2026, although important high-risk timelines now extend into 2027 and 2028. That makes 2027 a particularly important year for implementation.

Brussels: regulatory interpretation

Brussels is the natural market for EU institutions, policy, standards and legal implementation. It is useful when understanding the rulemaking process itself is the objective.

London: multinational implementation

London sits outside the EU regime but remains important because multinational businesses operating across Europe need governance systems that can handle overlapping expectations.

British Business Review describes a growing London governance economy around regulated industries, professional services and practical assurance.

Germany: operational compliance

German enterprises combine EU obligations with complex industrial and corporate environments. German Business Review's analysis argues that the AI Act is effectively creating a new corporate governance function connecting literacy, technical controls and management.

Look beyond legal interpretation

The strongest 2027 programmes should cover evaluation, inventories, monitoring, procurement, accountability and incident response.

A conference that explains obligations without showing how teams implement them only solves half the problem.

Compare jurisdictions carefully

Do not assume a US framework such as NIST AI RMF and the EU AI Act perform the same role. One is a voluntary risk-management framework; the other is legislation. They can complement each other without being interchangeable.
