Best AI Conferences in London in 2027: What to Attend and Why

A London-specific guide to the major confirmed AI conferences of 2027, with advice for choosing by audience, objective and format.

London's advantage as an AI conference city is not simply the number of events. Research, finance, government, enterprise buyers, startups and international talent are close enough for one visit to connect several parts of the market.

That density can also produce a noisy calendar. The right question is not “Which London AI conference is biggest?” It is “Which room contains the conversations I need?”

Five confirmed London events

AI & Big Data Expo Global opens the year on 3 and 4 February at Olympia London. Its enterprise, data and developer coverage suits visitors comparing technologies and use cases.

Peak of Data and AI follows from 9 to 11 March at the QEII Centre. Big Data & AI World runs on 10 and 11 March at ExCeL. Their overlap forces a real choice between a more focused data and AI setting and the broader Tech Show London environment.

The AI Summit London takes place on 9 and 10 June at Tobacco Dock. Its scale, multiple tracks and sponsor presence make it a broad market event. Plan meetings in advance because serendipity becomes less reliable as an event grows.

Women in AI Global Summit takes place on 11 and 12 November in London. It combines technical, enterprise, policy, career and leadership discussions with an explicit mission to improve representation and opportunity across AI.

Choose by the work in front of you

If you are selecting platforms, prioritise demonstrations, architecture sessions and access to technical teams. If you are shaping policy, look for regulators, governance practitioners and leaders who own implementation. If you are hiring, assess whether the event attracts the roles and career stages you need. If you are seeking investment or customers, study the attendee profile and meeting format rather than relying on headline footfall.

Women and underrepresented professionals should also examine who is visible on technical stages, who attends senior sessions and whether the event creates routes to sponsorship and paid opportunity. Representation in marketing is not the same as access in the room.

Make London work harder

Treat the conference as the centre of a wider visit. Arrange small meetings with customers, research partners or peers on adjacent days. Use London's universities, industry communities and public institutions to add depth. Leave enough time between venues, especially when crossing the city.

For international visitors, the useful unit of planning is not the event day but the full trip. Include transport, accommodation, visa or entry requirements, accessibility and the cost of time away from normal work.

A simple scorecard

Score each event from one to five on:

relevance of sessions; people you can realistically meet; opportunities to contribute, not only consume; evidence of audience quality; accessibility and inclusion; total cost; likelihood of a concrete next step.

Weight the first two twice. A polished event with weak relevance is still a poor investment.

London's AI events serve different jobs. The strongest annual plan may include one broad commercial conference and one focused community or leadership summit rather than every large event.
